Get Dangerous Games has a new home. If you’ve clicked around the site already, welcome — this is the first real post from the new blog, and it feels right to spend it on the thing you’re currently looking at.
The short version: the old site had run its course, so we rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up instead of patching around it. Here’s what changed.
Our stories, actually hosted here
Our short fiction used to live scattered across other platforms, behind other platforms’ accounts and quirks. Not anymore — seven stories are now hosted natively, in full, right on this site. No signups, no paywalls, no leaving to go read something we wrote. Head over to Writing and pick your poison.
A real blog (hi)
This post is proof of concept — the blog you’re reading right now is native to the site instead of an embedded feed from somewhere else. Studio updates, dev notes, and community shoutouts will land here going forward, filterable by topic once there’s enough of a backlog to filter.
YouTube and Podcasts, actually current
The YouTube and Podcasts pages got pulled in line with what’s actually live today — every playlist card points at a real, currently-active playlist instead of a generic “go check the channel” link. There’s also a dedicated section for watching Shadows RPG actually played at the table, across all four campaigns currently running, if you want to see the game in action before picking up the book.
Somewhere to actually say hi
The Contact page got a refresh too — it’s not just a Discord link anymore, it’s got a proper front door, plus quick links to everywhere else we hang out. Discord’s still the fastest way to reach us, but now you’ve got options.
One studio, one look
We also went back through the whole site and made sure every page actually feels like it belongs to the same brand — consistent colors, consistent voice, real brand art instead of leftover stock images. Small thing, but it matters.
That’s the site. Now for the part we’re actually most excited about:
We’re back in the trenches on the Shadows RPG Core Rulebook. It’s been heads-down work for a while, but it’s moving again, and we’ll be sharing more here as there’s more to show — dev notes, playtest findings, and a real look at what’s coming next for NYTE City.
Stick around. Join the Discord if you haven’t — that’s still the fastest way to hear things first. More soon.
