What's Changed
We rebuild this site in the open, and things move fast. This is where we log the site itself — new pages, redesigns, features like the one below. For new stories, videos, and episodes, check the Blog instead.
Site updates
Easier to Read, Easier to Tap
Home now opens with a one-line answer to what we are, and the Shadows section has its own Learn button. Small text and pink accents are brighter on dark backgrounds, the Home spotlights can be paused, and footer links and filter pills are bigger tap targets.
Clearer Paths to Shadows, Discord, and Patreon
Home now has a Play Shadows RPG button right in the hero, a plainer intro to the game, and a Back the Studio band. Every story and blog post ends with what to read next and a way to join in, and Contact leads with Discord and Patreon, with our other channels tucked underneath.
Phone-Friendly Menu, and Thumbnails Everywhere
On phones the header now tucks the nav behind a menu button instead of eating a fifth of the screen. YouTube playlists and blog posts show real artwork, the blog has an RSS feed, and wrong turns land on a proper 404 page.
Reddit, and About Moves Up Top
Joined r/shadowsRPG, added it to the socials, and moved the About page into the main nav so it's not just a footer scroll away.
Light Mode
A toggle in the header now lets you flip between our dark-mode-first look and a full light theme. Your choice sticks around for next time.
Home Got More Alive
The tagline links actually go somewhere now, every pillar card is fully clickable, and each one shows a rotating preview of real stories, videos, and episodes.
Meet the Crew
Added an About page — who we are, what we've made, and how to say hi.
Cover Art for Every Story
All seven Writing stories now have their own scene-specific cover art instead of plain text cards.
The Blog Is Live
Dev notes and studio updates now live natively on this site, including a handful of highlights pulled back from our old Blogspot archive.
Contact, Reimagined
A real header image and a full row of ways to reach us, not just a single Discord link.
YouTube & Podcasts, Refreshed
Caught the YouTube and Podcasts pages up with what's actually live — new Shadows campaigns, corrected playlists, and a stack of new episodes.
Writing, Hosted for Real
Our stories now live here in full — no more sending you to other platforms to read them.
getdangerous.net
The site now lives at its real home instead of a GitHub subdomain.
We're Live
Get Dangerous rebuilt from the ground up — Home, Writing, Blog, YouTube, Podcasts, and Contact, all real, all here.
